Day 49 - Eating cacti?

December 20th

We headed out to hike in a military base in the morning. Santiago drove us there, but unfortunately when we got there we were not allowed in. Instead we went to a park and museum. Borrowed a Basketball for a few games of basketball on the court in the park and then we walked through the park and bird sanctuary. We then had a little workout before we left. I only saw a small woodpecker, no burrowing owls like the entrance had insinuated. We headed back to the house and were treated to a meal of cacti and corn. The cacti was good wrapped in tortillas with chipotle! In the evening we went out for tacos with some of our new friends we had met yesterday and afterwards we gave them a tour of The Baller Bus.
