Day 40 - Unending swamp

We said goodbye to New Orleans and headed to Texas! After driving for hours over swamp we stopped at a Louisiana tourist center and they mentioned that Lake Charles was really nice and there was a great beach spot! After hearing the word beach we headed right over. We stopped in the casino area hoping to catch the Raptors game on the television. Luckily they didn't have it. I say luckily because we didn't gamble at all! It's hard to gamble on a budget and we definitely would have had we stayed. We went to a McDonald's and watched the game, then found a nearby Walmart for the night.
