Day 39 - Be careful where you walk

December 10th

Sam headed off to Central Park in the morning while attempted to fix the small leak in our roof. Joel and Josh slept all day. I headed out to the river walk along the Mississippi, a part of the French quarter. On my way there I was trailed by a Cadillac for 3 blocks in a less populated area... I didn't walk back that way. When I got there I saw the Natchez, a steamboat with a distinct water wheel prepulsion system, pull away up the very brown Mississippi. After walking for most of the day in the French Quarter I ran into Sam accidentally on the street and we splurged on some deepfried catfish and a Po-Boy. We came back to find the sleep guys had finally awoken, surprisingly without bedsores!
